The Mac Knives Ultimate line is an ultimate combination of high carbon steel, Chrome, Molybdenum, Vanadium, and Tungsten Carbide, which makes the blade harder and more durable than most brands (Between 59 and 61 Rockwell). Plus the Mac ultimate series is resistant to rust and stains. Most importantly, the ultimate series has razor sharp edges and excellent balance.
